Visiting Mathewsons Live is straightforward whether you’re local or traveling from afar. The venue is the Great Yorkshire Events Centre at the Showground in Harrogate (HG2 8NZ). There is ample free parking on site; parking opens at 8:00am each day and all cars must be removed by 7:00pm. (Tip: use postcode HG2 8NZ for your satnav – and allow extra time as the car parks fill up quickly on busy mornings.) There is no parking fee, so arrive early for the best spots!
The Showground is easily reached by road from all directions, or by train to Harrogate station and getting a local taxi. On show days, just follow the official signs – those and friendly staff will guide you from the car parks to the show gates.
Once inside, you’ll find the layout easy to navigate: all main attractions (rally stage, main stage, exhibit displays etc.) are clearly signposted. Grab a programme at the entrance that will contain a site map show map and explore at your leisure. Picnic blankets or fold-up chairs are welcome as there are grassy sitting areas, but remember most people bring low-backed camping chairs to relax in as the day goes on without obstructing the view of others as the day goes on.
The venue is largely flat and accessible for wheelchairs and strollers, with plenty of restroom and food facilities. Note that dogs are not allowed on site - except registered assistance animals - to ensure the safety of the livestock that can be found at the showground, so please leave your pet at home. There will be food trucks and local caterers on site offering a variety of meals and snacks, but you are welcome to bring outside food and drink with you to stay refreshed or for special dietary needs.

Plan to arrive by 9:00am each day so you don’t miss opening. The gates open at 9:30am, and the show runs until 5:30pm.
