It wouldn't be a Mathewsons event without a live auction, would it? Mathewsons Live 2026 will feature a live classic car, motorbike and memorabilia auction on both days, hosted by the Mathewsons family from TV’s Bangers & Cash.
This will be one of the biggest live classic car auctions in the UK this year, with thousands of visitors watching and bidding as cars, motorcycles and motoring memorabilia go under the hammer. The atmosphere promises to be electric as Derek, Dave, Paul, Jack and Charlie take to the stage.
The auction will feature a carefully curated selection of vintage and classic vehicles alongside sought-after memorabilia. Whether you are looking to secure your next classic car or simply want to experience the thrill of a live auction in person, this is a must-see part of the weekend.

You will have the chance to view all of the lots right up until the auction in the designated auction viewing area, where Mathewsons staff will be on hand to answer any questions. When the lot you want goes under the hammer, simply raise your hand and catch Derek, Dave or Paul’s eye. If you cannot attend in person, you can register for absentee or phone bids in advance, but nothing compares to being there live.
A 20 percent deposit by debit card is required on vehicles and motorcycles. Memorabilia must be paid for in full on the day. Memorabilia can be taken home immediately, while sold vehicles will be returned to Mathewsons’ Pickering site for collection or transport. Helpful support and recommended transporter lists will be provided.
