Current V5 present. Paperwork includes British Motor Industry Heritage Certificate, owner's handbook, printed photos, handwritten notes, Practical Classics magazine, dyno printout, and invoices.

The vendor has provided the model of the vehicle to be a 1958 Austin Healey 100/6. Please confirm upon your own inspection.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • 1958 Austin Healey BN4 100/6
  • Fully restored over 2 years from last nut-and-bolt grit-blasted chassis (photo)
  • UK supplied to Car Mart London on 25th January 1958, then travelled to the USA and was imported to the UK by me in 2015
  • Full photo restoration over a few years that was finished during COVID
  • Longbridge spec car, engine painted Morris green (not usual steel dust grey); this was done a few months ago, as described in Healeysix.net.
  • Full engine rebuild, rebore (to about 2750cc)
  • 12 port head, unleaded fast road Welch cam, 6 branch big bore stainless exhaust
  • Alloy radiator alternator
  • 16" 725 spoke wire wheels
  • These upgrades downgraded it to 2nd place at Austin Healey Club national concours
  • Previous NEC exhibit
  • UK car events show winner
  • Matching numbers
  • Repaint on all original panels
  • New chrome
  • New leather trim and carpets
  • New red tonneau, new black hood
  • White hardtop
  • Too many other new parts to list

  • I have had 3 Healeys from him and have won the Austin Healey sprint and hillclimb championship in the 100/4 I bought from him
  • I have rebuilt 4 big Healeys after a lifetime in the motor trade and still have 3 of them
  • Drives just as it should
  • The fast road cam gives it a boost in mid revs, which is nice to experience
  • Overdrive obviously
  • The car rides and presents well
