The vendor has provided the following:

• Built in 1971, this Series 1 SWB 4.2 auto XJ6 has spent most of its life in South Africa before being imported back to the UK in 2017
• With matching engine and chassis numbers, it has had some restoration work carried out in SA, and the original gearbox has been replaced with a later BW65 unit
• Recent work includes new front brake callipers/hoses, a cylinder head overhaul with new valves/springs, and a new front exhaust
• The car is registered as a historic vehicle, hence MOT and tax exempt, and has been owned by me since March 2020
• It has seen light summer use, covering about 100 miles a year, but space is now needed, hence this rather reluctant sale
• Included are some spare parts, an original XJ6 Series 1 handbook, Haynes manual, receipts/ MOT certificates, etc
