Current V5 present. Paperwork includes a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, a Driver's Handbook, DVLA Keeper History report, two parts catalogues, MOT certificates, and invoices.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • 1974 MGB GT V8 factory car that comes with a heritage certificate
  • Older restoration by Simon J Robinson Ltd. Same owner since 2008, during which time it has covered less than six thousand miles due to work commitments
  • During ownership, all water hoses have been replaced, as have the water pump, alternator, distributor, front shock absorbers, and batteries ( twin 12 Volt batteries in parallel)
  • The alloy wheels were refurbished at a cost of £3000; the spare has never been used since
  • There was a recent replacement of the radiator with an upgraded aluminium item, together with clutch slave cylinder, sump gasket and replacement steering column. The Webasto roof cover
    was replaced in the summer as well
  • The car was serviced over the summer of 2025 and was tuned by AG classic car tuning
  • This car has been kept under cover in a dry garage throughout my ownership.
  • It was waxoyled underneath at the time of restoration.
  • It will come with the original radiator in a box and the original alternator, together with an electronic distributor ( reverted to points to maintain originality at
    the time)

Auction: April Classic Vehicles & Memorabilia Auction, 15th Apr, 2026

The viewing period for this auction is Wednesday 8 April 2026 - Tuesday 14 April 2026. 

The entrance fee is £5 per person during the viewing periods at our Pickering branch. 
This forms part of our annual fundraising to help local and national charities chosen by us.
Please note that we cannot allow under 16s, pets or handbags in the showrooms for viewing.
