The vendor has provided the following:

• This is more correctly called a Lancia 2000 sedan, but it is the last version of the Flavia series, which began in 1961
• The first owner was Jack Lewis, the 1960 Autocar F2 champion
• There is a complete record of work done (15 x A4 pages), which will be with the car, together with other useful books and literature. Also, some parts boxes.
• Present owner since 1993
• Previous owner subjected the car to extensive restoration
• This included new front outriggers, for which the whole front end up to the bulkhead was removed. New sills, 3 new doors, 2 new front wings, repaired rear wheel arches, rear valance. Brake pipes replaced, also new rear springs. Repainted (original colour) after bodywork completed
• The restoration work has been continued by the present owner, mainly with the idea of making it a reliable everyday (if necessary) car, although never used as such
• Always garaged, only occasionally driven when wet and never when there is salt about
• Has been extensively waxoyled over time, with annual underbody respray of waxoyl for most of the last decade
• New clutch 9 years ago, only about 900 miles annually since
• Stainless steel middle and rear exhaust sections (PD Gough) ages ago
• Anything that this car has needed doing to it over time has been done: more than I can remember
• Motorway capable if required
• The only known electrical fault is the heated rear screen, which doesn't any more
• Lastly: people in the know will probably raise an eyebrow at what is visible under the bonnet. No apologies for this - it all works
