The vendor has provided the following:

  • Lotus Esprit Turbo GT3. One of approx 168 GT3,S made and one of approximately 10 made in Chrome Orange
  • The last but one owner had her painted Silver, but his friend the last owner had her painted back to the original colour
  • The colour match was good, but was not the best job with over spray and underspray etc
  • PNM Engineering fitted new LED headlights
  • I have tidied up this to a certain extent and had her rear spoiler and a colour matched spare pair of door mirrors that will be included in the sale
  • Her gear surround would also originally have been colour coded to the car but I think the carbon fibre coating looks much beter with the all black interior
  • The Lotus S4 spoiler was fitted by the 2nd owner. The owner that I bought the car off had had a bespoke twin exhaust made n fitted
  • He also got the Lotus specialist pnmengineering Liverpool, to fit a glass sunroof , V8 seats and Black V8 OZ Saturn 17" front with 18" rears
  • All these parts would have been a Lotus option when she was new
  • All GT3,s had the V8,s Brembo brake calipers fitted from new
  • Her ABS light flashes intermittently. The Delco moraine 3. Which produces back pressure against your foot. This is quite normal according to all the forums I have read
  • The brake accumulator is only a couple of years old and because the included brake manual states ' a flashing ABS light indicates that the ABS system is fully functioning, but has detected a fault ' the fault is that the pump runs too often compared to how many times you press the pedal
  • The brake pressure switch controls the pressure
  • It is switching off the pump before it has gained its 2,700 psi
  • The original switch is obsolete but Steve at Lotus Marque Austrailia has been supplying an alternative switch that I tried to order
  • He said that the new stock he had needed recalibrating at the manufacturer
  • So he can continue to supply them for approx £270
  • As far as her engine is concerned approx 2,000 miles ago she had a full engine rebuild including Lotus Nicosia coated piston linners.
  • The car was driven 160 miles to the auction.
