Harlech 2023!!

After feeling guilty for leaving the auction early once again to make the 5 hour trip down to Wales for the TOYOTA Harlech Stages, thankfully we had a trouble free run down, we woke up at 5:30am to a freezing morning ready to be scrutinerred at 6am (thanks to Wenna, and other organisers for that ) A quick bike round the stage to see what the chicanes were like, and we were off.

 

Ss1 and Ss2 were 2 clean runs giving us the fastest stage times, closely followed up by Rhys Jones Rallying and Oliver Waggett Rallying.

Again Ss3,Ss4,Ss5, and Ss6 were once again swift and clean runs, giving us the top spot and valuable championship points, after Oliver Waggett nabbed a few seconds back from us!

 

Gutted for Rhys Jones who did a gearbox, you were making me sweat lad!! Also gutted for J.B Rallying, it wasn’t your day lad.

 

Well done to all other F1000 Rally Club competitors and a special congratulations to Riley Chester on his first podium.

 

Massive thanks to Harlech & District Motor Club for organising the event, the stages were mint!!

 

Also thanks to Ian Bass for once again keeping me right, textbook as always .

 

All in all a great day's rallying topped off by a pot .
