Today saw Ian and I tackle my second ever gravel event. The 2025 Greystoke stages, seeded car 19 it was set out to be a cracking weekend!!
We started the day off swift and clean to see where we placed against other competitors, the first 2 stages were nice, clean and swift but not the fastest, maximum attack was on the table for SS3 to which unfortunately saw the retirement of Sue and
Tom Hynd. That’s rallying mate.

We were really looking forward to t
he battle!!
After that we decided to keep pushing on to build up a reasonable lead going into the last two stages, of which we managed to hold, ending the day…..

1st mini with a 30 second advantage

1st in class

12th overall

1st front wheel drive

All in all a cracking day, and LOTS of learning!!!! (And still more to be had)
Massive thanks to
Ian Bass for your hard work and commitment, it doesn’t go unnoticed.
Big thanks to all the Marshalls and organisers for putting on a brilliant event.
Well Done to Sven and Alfie who were 1st home in the R50's.
Finally a well done to all other competitors that finished the event. It was extremely slippy!!!!!
Next outing for us is the Fairfield Merlin Stages in Pembrey in 2 weeks time for round 5 of the Mini Rally Challenge Championship!!
Can’t waittttt!!!!!!
