Make: FIAT Model: 500L Registration: AVV 244J Engine Size (cc): 499 Year of Manufacture: 1970 Date First Registered: 01/09/2018 Current V5: YES Location: PICKERING You can view from: Wednesday 1 October 2025 - Tuesday 7 October 2025
Current V5 present. Paperwork includes printed information about the vehicle, a Number Plate Authorisation Certificate, an Application to register a vehicle showing VIN, a Vehicle Dating letter from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, a NOVA Acknowledgment, previous V5s, an MOT certificate, a printed DVLA check, previous insurance documents, and invoices.
The vendor has provided the following:
Imported into the UK in May 2014, and believed to be at some point a Police Panda Car in Italy
Was manufactured in Te Fiat Mirafiori Plant, Turin, Italy, in December 1970
2 former UK owners
Being 55 years old is Tax and MOT exempt, along with Classic car Insurance of only £80 per year, which offers great value for town driving and ownership
After being MOTd in June 2018, the car was then subject to a full body/running gear restoration. The body was fixed to a rotisserie so that any rot or rust could be cut out and fresh new panels/metalwork could be rewelded back in. Then full windows out professionally resprayed and completed
A USB stick holds many photos of the restoration in process and comes with the car
Restoration was completed in 2020, and the car has had very little use since. Loss of long-term storage has forced a very reluctant sale
The car has not been used in approximately 10-12 months, so it will require a quick run through the workshop before driving in anger
Has had a newly refurbished Weber Carb fitted, which may benefit from some fine-tuning to get the engine performing at its best from cold
A4 binder full of receipts of the restoration and other expenditures comes with the car
Prepare to be stopped and have photos taken wherever you drive
The car did fire up and started on the first flick of the key; however had a slight petrol leak, so I have just swapped the carburettor out for a new fully reconditioned vapor-blasted Weber item. This might need a little fine-tuning and choke readjustment to make cold starting perfect
