Current V5 present. Paperwork includes printed photographs of the tractor and a Classic Tractor magazine.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • Built in Basildon, during the mid-day shift on 13th February 1970
  • 37hp tractor, no history, nor registration plate, would not start
  • Stripped engine & rebuilt engine, injector pump and injectors reconditioned
  • Had the flywheel skimmed, fitted new clutch, pressure plate and bearing
  • Work on the steering box and steering ends, new pins and bush in the front axle, seals and gaskets on the hydraulic system and PTO were replaced
  • Found out the tractor got the original engine, gearbox and back axle, so I was able to get it registered
  • All parts came from a Ford dealer
  • All work was carried out by the owner and his sons
  • Resprayed 24 years ago by myself
  • It has won many cups and shields in the South West
  • It was also featured on the front cover of Classic Tractor in July 2004 and senter fold, Vintage Tractor, April/May 2007 front cover
  • Also featured in the Old Pond DVD in July 2009
  • Front cover with forager and trailer
  • Downsizing due to ill health
  • Always polished twice a year with Carauba wax polish

  • by 5pm on Thursday before the auction for lots going through on Friday

Welcome to our May Auction!

The viewing period for this auction is Wednesday 13 May 2026 - Tuesday 19 May 2026. 

Prospective buyers are encouraged to view specific lots pre-auction and inspect paperwork if available.

The entrance fee is £5 per person during the viewing periods at our Pickering branch. 
This forms part of our annual fundraising to help local and national charities chosen by us.
Please note that we cannot allow under 16s, pets or handbags in the showrooms for viewing.
 
PLEASE NOTE: Please be aware that all lots are sold as seen and without any warranty implied or given. You must satisfy yourself as to a lot's description and condition before you decide to bid. We recommend that you inspect the lot in person during the general viewing days held prior to the auction or call us to arrange for an individual appointment.
 
Each auction throughout the year will witness a collection / donation.
