Current V5 present. Paperwork includes a large folder containing a technical manual, a Triple C Challenger booklet, instructions on building a Challenger, a previous V5, old tax discs, and some invoices for parts and work.
The vendor has provided the following:
Donor vehicle - 1976 Jaguar XJ6
Jaguar 4.2 engine with twin carbs, 4-speed manual plus overdrive and new 3.07 ratio crown wheel and pinion fitted.
Professional Head Rebuild by Murray Scott Nelson Classic Sports Car Specialists, Scarborough.
Challenger stainless steel exhaust.
New front windscreen, new mohair hood, new starter motor, all professionally fitted.
The car has light blue metallic paintwork with wire wheels and spinners, a Challenger alloy fuel tank and genuine E-type rear light clusters . The speedo has been calibrated after a differential ratio change.
Apart from a period when ownership was transferred to my son, I have owned the car since collecting it in kit form from the Corby factory. The car runs well, but unfortunately due to my failing health, I have not been able to use it as I would like.
