Current V5 present. Paperwork includes VIN plate, previous new keeper slip, a postcard, wiring diagram, VW sedan and convertible instruction manual, Volkswagen workshop manual, and invoices.

The vendor has provided the model of the vehicle to be a 1959 Volkswagen Beetle, please confirm upon your own inspection.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • VERY RARE RHD 1959 VW Beetle
  • Newly built engine: 4 cylinder TWIN WEBER ICT34 4 speed manual transmission
  • Original split case gearbox replaced with a custom gearbox built to complement the 1600cc engine
  • Fully refurbished & detailed under the bonnet & deck-lid, with the exterior left in its original form
  • It boasts an original pinstriped tank to match the pinstriped fan shroud
  • Pan off rebuild (2017) with many parts replaced and/or painted
  • New brake lines, brake shoes & a new 4” narrow beam with drop spindles fitted
  • Electrics converted to 12V. LED lights fitted front & rear, including indicators
  • Unfortunately, the semaphores no longer work
  • The interior is original with minor repairs to the seats. Seatbelts throughout & Bluetooth radio fitted. Porsche 911 FUCHS alloys. Original manuals, receipts for work done & electrical plan included
  • Has always been under cover & hooded
  • The interior is mostly original. In order to avoid compromising any original surfaces, upholstery or stitching that modern cleaning products may cause damage to - a light soapy water was used & wiped immediately. So the car’s interior is very clean according to its preservation.

The entrance fee is £5 per person during the viewing periods at our Pickering branch. 
This forms part of our annual fundraising to help local and national charities chosen by us.
 
Each auction throughout the year will witness a collection / donation.
