Current V5 present. Paperwork includes an Owner's Handbook, a Dealers Directory, two buff log books, a previous V5, MOT certificates, old tax discs, a list of Owner's clubs, a previous vehicle listing, and invoices.
The vendor has provided the following:
1968 Rover P6 series 1 2000 TC in Venetian red
A truly special car in show-winning condition, the car has won multiple awards at both Rover and open shows (trophies in the boot to prove)
Super low genuine mileage of under 17,500 miles
Owned by a late Rover P6 club committee member
The original Venetian red paintwork was fully detailed by a top bodyshop and then lacquered, leaving it with a finish like glass; this cost a small fortune
The car was originally bought by a gentleman for his wife, but she didn't really like driving. It was dry stored, having only covered 5500 miles
My late Stepfather acquired it around 2008 and set to work recommissioning it to a superb standard, but staying sympathetic to retain the car's originality. Period-correct centre lock wire wheels, which were an option at the time of production, have been added
He then regularly attended shows with, enjoying great success, winning multiple awards
The car has been cherished as part of his fleet of 4 very high-standard Rover P6s
