The vendor has provided the following:

  • 1972 Honda CB500/4
  • All the work listed below was carried out in October 2025
  • Carburettors stripped and rebuilt with all new parts and gaskets, and carburettors balanced
  • Valves checked and a new valve cover gasket fitted
  • Fork tubes replaced with new seals and oil
  • Front brake pads
  • New air filter
  • New air box clamp
  • New oil filter and oil
  • New genuine rectifier
  • New tank rubber mount
  • New Battery strap
  • New original exhaust fitted
  • Lovely bike in very good condition, garage stored when not in use, was changed to black at some point before coming to me, which I changed on the logbook when I got the bike.
  • Been in my possession since May 2025
  • Won an online raffle from Classic Competition Company
  • The colour was changed at some point, and the logbook was updated when it came into my possession in May 2026
  • Comes with V5 and receipt/invoice for work carried out
  • This bike came to me from The Classic Competition Company in May 2025
  • It is in very good original condition apart from a new exhaust fitted October 2025 when I had it serviced, work done included carbs stripped and overhauled with all new jets and gaskets, new valve cover gaskets, both fork tubes replaced and new seals and oil used, new front brake pads, air box to carb clamps, new air filter, new rectifier, new stator, new battery strap, new tank rubber
  • The colour was changed at some point, and I updated this on the logbook when it came into my possession
  • This bike came to me from The Classic Competition Company in May 2025. The viewing period for this auction is Wednesday 8 April 2026 - Tuesday 14 April 2026. 

The entrance fee is £5 per person during the viewing periods at our Pickering branch. 
This forms part of our annual fundraising to help local and national charities chosen by us.
Please note that we cannot allow under 16s, pets or handbags in the showrooms for viewing.
