Current V5 present. Paperwork includes an Owner's Handbook, a Maintenance booklet containing 10 stamps, previous V5s, MOT certificates, previous motor insurance, printed description and various invoices.
The vendor has provided the following:
The car was purchased through Mathewson’s in June 2021, and it was featured in UKTV's Bangers and Cash - Series 7 episode 9
I did a 'Bangers and Cash - Restoring Classic Cars' on it, doing a no-expense-spared renovation and spending in excess of £28,000!
Since purchasing it has gone through a thorough recommissioning and restoration by marque specialists, the SLShop, and the 'Classic Car Workshop', in Dalton on Tees (used by the 'Bangers and Cash’ team)
The car has:
A new bulkhead (guaranteed and certified)
Chassis restoration
Bodywork with some paint
Some interior trim
New soft-top
A thorough engine service (including timing chain check)
This includes the rare, factory-fit aircon
Derek's Comments:
Pristine in light green metallic with virtually as-new beige velour upholstery
The extensive history file includes the original handbook, detailed receipts for maintenance and improvements carried out by specialists, and the SL shop Stratfor-Upon-Avon
An early V5 and MOT history is also included
The service booklet shows it being supplied by Alan Dat Ltd to Stevenage Machine Tools of Arlesley, a company known to us
The booklet shows 10 stamps confirming maintenance carried out by either the Main dealer or specialist repairs
The vehicle is known to us following the vendor's purchase in 2021
We deal with a large number of 107 model Sl's, but rarely do we offer an example in this condition
This beautifully presented example has been the pride and joy of its enthusiastic vendor during his ownership
In his words, "Time now to move on", one for the discerning collector!
