- This 997 has a comprehensive full service history from Porsche main dealer and independent specialists, with engine oil and filter carried out this year, together with new air and cabin filter
- The engine is a water-cooled, iconic flat 6 unit of 3596cc producing 320bhp, which is less prone to bore score compared to the 3.8 litre version with thinner cylinder walls. An oil sample was sent to Millers , for analysis, reporting no problems, oil pressure is superb
- For added peace of mind, this engine has been future-proofed with an upgraded EPS intermediate shaft bearing (IMS) and new rear main seal (RMS). Also, the superb and robust Mercedes 5G-tronic semi-automatic gearbox has had a recent oil and filter change
- The all-important cooling system has had the front crossover pipes and longitudinal pipes to the engine replaced with OEM items, together with an upgraded low-temperature thermostat
- Shock absorbers have recently been replaced with Bilstein items with complementing Techart white springs(Eibach), giving a very compliant ride quality and perfect stance
- The exhaust has been upgraded to a Spyder performance stainless steel valvetronic system, which includes 200 cell sports cats, as mentioned in the video, includes two extensions,(in the frunk in a box)that fit between the lambda sensor on the cats which will prevent the engine light coming on giving the option with an in-car remote(two keyfobs, one clipped to drivers sun-visor) to open valves for unrestricted noise and power, or valves closed for more sociable cruising
- The wheels are the desirable 19" Porsche factory lobster claw alloys wrapped in almost new premium Pirelli P Zero tyres
