Alan Mann red and gold colours
Fibreglass bonnet and boot
Perspex windows
Wet sump to comply with HRVIF regulations
Lotus TC. Twin 45s. 127hp.
Lightened flywheel and 71/4 AP ceramic Paddle clutch done 135 race miles. AP pressure plate and new release bearing done 60 race miles
4-speed 2000e box TransX kit. 60 race miles since rebuild
English rear axle with 3J Driveline LSD 4.4:1. 18 spline heavy-duty halfshafts. Also 4.7:1 and 5.1:1.
Bilstein struts with 260/60 inserts and 145lb springs with Bilstein rear shocks
Coralba trip computer. Hydraulic handbrake. Balance bar pedal box. 55ltr fuel tank with twin Facet pumps
New fuel lines. All oils/filter changed each time. New hardy spacers in the propshaft
Seats are good until the end of 29 and 30. Belts are good until the end of 29. Extinguishers until Nov 26
4 x Compromtive wheels with Toyo 888r. 6 X steel wheels with Toyo 888r. Spare Toyo used tyres. 4 x gravel tyres
Spare the Elan box in bits. Spare distributor. New spare fibreglass bonnet (unpainted).
The car was registered in Birmingham in 1966, exported to the Isle of Man in the early 70s and used as an everyday road car
During the 90s, it went over to Northern Ireland and was prepared for Historic Rallies, competing in tarmac rallies and the Ulster Rally
Came back to England in 2009 and was upgraded to Lotus Spec and used in the British Historic Rally Championship, where it won Cat1 (pre 68) numerous times as well as class awards. It was invited to Goodwood FOS seven times and also raced at Chateau Impney Hill Climb
