The vendor has provided the following:

• This is a 1991 BMW K100 Police spec motorcycle that originally saw service with West Midlands Police during the early 1990's
• The current owner purchased the vehicle a number of years ago and subjected it to a full restoration
• The bike was stripped to its bare components, and then the parts were either recommissioned or replaced with new old stock
• The frame and metal parts were bead blasted and powder-coated
• The engine was rebuilt, and a new old-stock gearbox was sourced from Germany
• The front forks were rebuilt by a specialist to exact BMW specs
• The fairing parts are all painted in the correct "Polizeiweiss - 607" colour
• Period blue light equipment is fitted, and additional items are supplied to complete the look
• The bike has been in storage since completion and still needs a bedding-in period
• This was a no-expense-spared restoration at the time
