1975 Land Rover SIII/ Hampshire Workshops L49:
Built by Hampshire Fire Service Workshops this Light Four Wheel Drive Pump was delivered new to Fleet Fire Station
It was later transferred to Fordingbridge where it spent most of its service life before being sold out of service for preservation
It was purchsed direct from the Brigade by well known preservationist Alan Roberts who transformed it to fabulous show condition
The appliances is excellently kitted out and is probably the best kitted Land Rover Fire Engine on show anywhere
Chassis and underneath are all in great condition. Affectionately known as "The Hampshire Rose" the Land Rover is well known in Fire Service Preservation circles and has been extensively rallied winning many awards
The Land Rover is fully documented and on the button and ready to go to an enthusiastic new owner.

The entrance fee is £5 per personduring the viewing periods at our Pickering branch.
