The vendor has provided the following:

  • 1948 Vauxhall 14J

  • The car has always been maintained at the Vehicle Repair Garage I owned

  • Interior looks to be original apart from the carpet and headliner

  • It has an electronic distributor and a hidden electronic voltage regulator

  • Bumpers were rechromed; other chrome looks original

  • Oil filter converted to canister type

  • It comes with a lot of spares, including original distributor, a starter, dynamos, gearbox, steering box, steering and brake parts, and front Suspension units(very rare)

  • There are also handbooks and workshop manuals

  • The car has been used for 40s weekends at Pickering and Woodhall Spa and various shows all over Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, and for my daughter's wedding

Welcome to our February Auction!

The viewing period for this auction is Wednesday 28 January 2026 - Tuesday 3 February 2026. 

Prospective buyers are encouraged to view specific lots pre-auction and inspect paperwork if available.

The entrance fee is £5 per person during the viewing periods at our Pickering branch. 
This forms part of our annual fundraising to help local and national charities chosen by us.
 
Each auction throughout the year will witness a collection / donation.
