Current V5 present. Paperwork includes an Owner's Manual, a Service booklet containing 6 stamps, MOT certificates, previous V5s, and some invoices.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • A remarkably rare first-generation Honda Civic SB1 manual from the early days of Honda motoring
  • Unlike the vast majority of first-generation Civics released with the Hondamatic transmission, this factory manual example is rare and highly desirable among collectors and enthusiasts alike
  • Showing just 74,684 miles from new and benefiting from only four former keepers, this Civic has clearly been cherished throughout its life
  • The vehicle is accompanied by an impressive history file, including the original service booklet with stamped entries, original owner’s manual, and an original Honda Civic sales brochure, all adding to the authenticity and provenance of this increasingly collectible classic
  • Over the past 10 years, the car has been carefully recommissioned while retaining its original character and specification
  • Professionally undertaken mechanical work includes new brake discs and pads, replacement engine gasket sets, new exhaust inlet and outlet valves, along with new shells and bearings
  • All work has been completed to a high standard, with supporting receipts included in the history file
  • Included in the sale is an extensive collection of valuable spare parts, featuring a box of gaskets and brake pads, a genuine new old stock offside front wing panel, and an original genuine lower front valence
  • The car is in excellent condition throughout and drives beautifully, offering a wonderfully engaging and lightweight classic driving experience
  • It attracts attention wherever it goes and remains enormous fun behind the wheel
  • With reportedly only 55 examples remaining registered in the UK at the last check, opportunities to acquire a genuine manual SB1 in this condition are exceptionally rare
  • An increasingly collectible Japanese classic with rarity, originality, and provenance on its side
