Current V5 present. Paperwork includes printed general maintenance information, MOT certificates, a large folder with receipts for parts purchased, invoices for works carried out, and printed photos.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • Land Rover Series 1, 80" 1951
  • Fitted with a later Series 2a military reconditioned 2.25L engine. I believe fitted with later series axles. Fitted with good Exmoor full-tilt canvas in good condition. Original starting handle
  • Loads of old history including receipts and photos of renovation & restoration in the early 2000s
  • Following new parts fitted: stainless steel fuel tank to original spec with fuel sender, alternator, starter motor, Webber carb & filter, remote spin-on oil filter kit. All new lights. Fully rewired. Heavy-duty battery. Tons of other stuff including gauges, an ignition switch, an electronic distributor, coil & leads, NGK plugs, and too much to list
  • Fuel & water temp gauges are a bit temperamental (possible voltage regulator)
  • Lovely patina, runs well, good oil pressure. A big box of spares comes with it too
  • Tax & MOT exempt and cheap classic car insurance as classed as Historic vehicle
