Current V5 present. Paperwork includes previous V5s, MOT certificates, V11 tax reminders, and invoices.

The vendor has provided the model of the vehicle to be a 1974 Ford Cortina Mark III Estate L. Please confirm upon your own inspection.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • Originally a factory 1600 L, ROA807M was converted very early on in its life

  • Most of its life it has been powered by a 2.0 Pinto (standard four seed gearbox)

  • ROA 807M has had four previous owners (low ownership)

  • This Cortina has been off the road since 2001

  • After buying it in 1998, I converted the engine to run on unleaded petrol (with a new standard camshaft)

  • The engine runs. The oil is clean like new, (I always changed the oil frequently, leaving the old oil to drain for hours before refilling, makes a big diffrence)

  • The unleaded head was direct from Ford (parts department), as I wanted a quality conversion

  • Engine has a Lumenition and Kenlowe fan

  • The body has lots of corrosion, but has been kept outside in the sun all the year off the road (had air around it)

  • The front wings were re-modeled in fiberglass (with Granada indicators)

  • It also had Granada headlights, but I replaced them with brand new Cortina ones

  • It also has a fiberglass valance. I was given the molds for the wings + valence

  • Under my ownership, I visited the local car breakers to get any interior parts that were better condition

  • No speaker holes. I only used the speaker on top of the crash pad (center)

  • I have two genuine Ford body panels included (both outer rear quarters)

  • Front wings have fiberglass wheel arch liners

  • The rear bumper was also fiberglass, and now has a new chrome bumper and black bump strip

  • I believe my estate has not been welded, and still has the original sills, although they are only good from around twelve inches from the front and rear.

  • Load space has a 2000E carpet (which also covers the back of the rear seat)

  • Below that is a MK5 sound proofing mat. I have fitted load loops (x4) also from a Mk5

  • The gear stick gator is MK 5 and double (again for sound proofing)

  • Rear wash wipe and heated rear window from a MK5

  • All extra switches are Mk5 and wired in as they would be on a Mk5, fuse box has 16 amp fuses as well as 8 amp fuses. These are correct value for the extra electrical parts fitted.
