Current V5 present. Paperwork includes a Vauxhall wallet containing an Owner's Handbook, an audio guide, a Service Booklet containing 9 stamps, a Navigation CD, a validation certificate, MOT certificates, and invoices.

The vendor has provided the following:

The vendor of this 2003 Vauxhall Omega Elite is the Bangers & Cash Restoring Classics team. They write:

There are some people in this world who reckon a classic car can only be something that came with an 8-track, was available in 70s non-metallic greige or is worth more than a Yorkshire semi. At restos, we are firm believers that classics can now boast a CD changer, power windows, and can be yours for just a few grand.

Capable of both the daily drive and the Sunday car show, we spotted this bargain-priced 5-star Vauxhall Omega.

Stripped out versions were the go-to unmarked traffic cars seen on Police Camera Action hunting down hot-wired hot-hatches, ours, however, is optioned up for the Chief Constable. It has acres of leather, more buttons than the Starship Enterprise, and best of all, a thumping 3.0 V6… all this for 10-year-old Fiesta money.

The Omega was the big brother to the Cavalier, another particularly questionable purchase of ours, which was sent for restoration with our friends at Classic Car Workshop.

Like the Cavvie, Kel and his team thought the Omega looked dull but drove really well. To make it fabulous all round, they treated the car to:

  • Fix the hole in the exhaust
  • Replacing brakes and brake pipes, which had corroded
  • Full machine polish
  • Wheels refurb @ ROMAX
  • Fix to central locking system

It now has a clean MOT until May 2026.

PLEASE NOTE: We take great pride in restoring our cars, but they are classics; they will not be immaculate, and they will no doubt need ongoing maintenance and repair. We suggest you make your own checks first.

The highest bid at the end of the auction will be submitted to the vendor for their consideration.
