The vendor has provided the following:
The vendor of this 1972 Honda N600 Deluxe is the Bangers & Cash Restoring Classics team. They write:
In June last year, we had not long finished working on our 2nd Mini of the Restos rollcall. We enjoy them greatly, but we see one in every auction and were on the lookout for something a little bit different. Then we set eyes on this - a rarely seen Honda alternative. It had the same cute appearance as its British Mini-cousin, but this one was LHD (ex-Norway) and had the word ‘Deluxe’ in its name. We needed to know more…
On closer inspection (and after parting with over £4k to ensure our ownership), we couldn’t quite work out what the ‘deluxe’ referred to. Perhaps the in-bonnet auto fire extinguisher system? Or was it the Tupperware box which seemed to protect the electrics from any leaky inlets?
Deluxe or not, TSX 632K was ours. We took it to VC Classics in Doncaster for the team there to give it the Deluxe treatment it deserved. Though for this one, we tried our very best to work within a not-so-deluxe budget.
Work for this one included:
This has been a budget-minded resto, so please don’t expect perfection, but our little car has a clean MOT valid until Feb 2027 and is now much less of a fire risk. The tupperware has also been reinstated as someone’s lunch box, so this is not included in the sale.
PLEASE NOTE: We take great pride in restoring our vehicles, but they are classics; they will not be immaculate, and they will no doubt need ongoing maintenance and repair. We suggest you make your own checks first.
