Current V5 present. Paperwork includes an Owner's Handbook, a previous V5, V11 tax reminders, MOT certificates, a previous Vehicle History Report, a promotional brochure, printed photographs of the vehicle, and invoices.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • 1979 Opel Monza 3.0E (very rare) owned by me since 6th April 2021
  • I have found it to be a good running and driving car
  • During my ownership of the car, I have taken it to at least thirty car shows and covered over 1,700miles in it
  • In 2024, I took the car on a rally through the hills of North Yorkshire with the Retros of Teesside car club
  • The car completed the rally with no issues and proved to be fast and capable
  • I have also found that the car is happy to cruise at motorway speeds
  • The car has had a mixed history, with early MOTs showing 81,000 miles
  • An MOT of 2018 showed 555 miles, and it now shows 7394 miles, so that probably means the car has done 107,000 miles in total
  • The car was painted in 2020 and is now showing a few blisters
  • It has had its brakes worked on and a new reverse gear fitted in the automatic gearbox by “Lagonda Garages Billingham” (invoice for this in the paperwork)
  • It has had a completely new stainless steel exhaust system fitted, and has had a new petrol tank fitted
  • The car will come with many bits and pieces and a reasonable amount of history
  • Very reluctant sale
  • I am having to downsize, so sadly, most of my classic cars must go
  • Was driven to the auction
