The vendor has provided the following:
This RMB Gentry is registered as a 1984 Triumph and is based upon a 1962 Triumph Courier. It was purchased in April 2019 from Orchard Classics of West Sussex (PX with my Triumph Spitfire). The car had been recommissioned after a long period without use, and I have used it regularly since. The original Triumph engine was past its best, and I refitted it with an MGB series engine and gearbox taken from MGB RLB 106E. This engine was overhauled in 2017 and has run beautifully since fitting. The work was done by Russell Bell of Full Throttle Classics of Thorp Arch, West Yorkshire, who subsequently also refitted the dashboard and instruments, retaining the speedometer as it is the original from when the car was first built.
I have renovated the seats and refitted the carpets and seatbelts. The steering column has been raised, and the driver's side tunnel has been made slightly wider to make the car more drivable for a taller driver.
