• After 8 years our 8v Golf GTI is for sale
• This Golf was specified from new as a 1.8 Helios blue 3 door with sunroof mode
• Currently fitted with original Volkswagen steel wheels and original suspension, not like the regularly modified MK2’s
• Over our ownership the car has always been dry stored and SORN’d over winter months
• The golf has been regularly serviced by ourselves despite the low annual mileage (just under 200 miles per year on average) Around 3 years & less than 1000 miles ago it was fitted with a new timing belt and water pump at a well established local garage, with receipts to prove
• The only ‘non standard’ feature of the car is a stainless steel exhaust, this was on the car when purchased. Aswell as this it’s fitted with a 90’s styled blaupunkt stereo which has Bluetooth, USB, AM/FM and aux.
• The car will come with a spare dash, which was with it when we purchased but we never opted to swap it
• The golf has been regularly polished/cleaned during our ownership
• Car comes with a 12 month MOT
• As well as this the car comes with stacks of paperwork dating back to when the car was new, including old MOT certificates, original service book/handbooks, and other receipts
• I am very sad to be selling the car, but as seen by the mileage, it just doesn’t get the usage it deserves! Hope it can find new owners to enjoy it for years to come.
