The vendor has provided the following:

  • 1972 Series III 88” truck cab with a 2.5 ltr NA Diesel engine that I have owned for circa 10 years
  • My father owned it from 2003 to 2016, so we have knowledge of it for 23 years
  • He bought it from a garage in West Wales, which had restored it at the time
  • Whilst it is a classic car (no road tax or requirement for MOT), I have an annual service and MOT for peace of mind conducted by a local Land Rover specialist
  • Their work involves annual full oil/grease changes regardless of mileage, and they have also changed wheel bearings, done some welding on the chassis and recently changed the headlamps
  • The car is Bronze Green
  • The car is currently configured as a truck cab with a black Exmoor Trim tonneau covering the load bed
  • Whilst I have never installed it, I also have a material soft top with hood hoops/sticks
  • The car is a 4-speed but also has a separate overdrive
  • The car has Wipac LED side/tail/indicator lamps to improve visibility
  • It also has aftermarket side/main/full beam lamps on the bumper – again to increase visibility
  • It also has load bed lighting, an integrated CTEK charging point and a reversing/fog lamp
  • All additional lighting is switched from an additional, sympathetic panel I had installed in the centre of the dash. As such, this could all be removed, leaving the dash original
  • It currently has 3 seats in the bench configuration
  • I have had recoiling 3 point belts fitted to the driver and outer passenger seat
  • Additionally, it has the Defender mirrors in place of the original wing-mounted mirrors
  • I have enjoyed my ownership, but am actively looking to sell because driveway space is required for my daughter, who turns 17 in a few months
