  • This Silver Volkswagen Beetle 'Last Edition' is more than a car – it's a time capsule
  • Number 260 of just 300 ever produced for the UK in 1978, it represents the end of an era for one of the most iconic vehicles ever made
  • With a remarkable 159 miles on the clock, this Beetle has been showroom stored since 1979, preserving its originality and charm
  • Every detail remains untouched – from the factory-fitted tyres and wheels to the unmodified interior and paintwork
  • No restorations, no alterations – just pure, unspoiled authenticity
  • Its story is as special as the car itself
  • Originally registered to its first keeper, it was lovingly reacquired by Mr Hayselden, Managing Director of Hayselden – Volkswagen's longest-established dealership in England, from the widow of the original owner

Welcome to our September Auction!

The viewing period for this auction is Wednesday 27 August 2025 - Tuesday 2 September 2025. 

Prospective buyers are encouraged to view specific lots pre-auction and inspect paperwork if available.

The entrance fee is £5 per person during the viewing periods at our Pickering branch. 
This forms part of our annual fundraising to help local and national charities chosen by us.
 
Each auction throughout the year will witness a collection / donation.
