The vendor has provided the following:

  • Morris Marina MkII 1.8 SDL Estate
  • Damask red
  • Current mileage 53,210
  • Tax & MOT exempt
  • A rare car, with only a handful remaining on the road in the UK
  • First registered 1/12/1977 in Edinburgh, where it spent the first 34 years of its' life
  • Since then, it's been in classic car collections, most recently in the 'Warwickshire collection'
  • The current owner is only the second recorded keeper with the DVLA, having carried out extensive recommissioning, including full cavity wax (at considerable expense) before returning to the road
  • The car has covered 1,600 miles in the meantime
  • It remains a very useable and practical classic car, with a large load area, and potentially ideal for towing a classic caravan
  • Having the larger 1.8 B-series engine, largely similar to the MGB, it has enough power to tackle motorway work if required
  • Appearances at classic car shows normally cause people to comment - 'My Dad had one of those!'
  • Sadly, this is a reluctant sale, due to change of circumstances/health issues.
