The vendor has provided the following:

  • 1984 BMW M535i (E28) Manual – Alpine White – Black Leather – Rare RHD Example
  • Offered for sale is my 1984 BMW M535i E28 finished in classic Alpine White with full black leather interior and manual gearbox.
  • This is a genuine factory M535i, confirmed by VIN, and a rare right-hand-drive example from the early years of E28 M535i production. The car retains all the iconic styling that made the M535i one of BMW’s most desirable performance saloons of the 1980s and the spiritual predecessor to the legendary E28 M5.
  • Specification & Features
  • 3.4 litre M30 straight-six engine
  • 5-speed manual gearbox
  • Alpine White exterior
  • Full black leather interior
  • Factory M535i body kit
  • M-Tech steering wheel
  • On-board computer
  • Period-style alloy wheels
  • Hartge badging
  • Right-hand drive
  • The car presents very well overall and has a fantastic period-correct look with strong road presence. The combination of Alpine White paintwork, black leather, manual transmission and subtle period modifications gives the car a genuine 1980s/90s performance BMW feel
  • The engine starts and runs well, and the manual gearbox operates as it should. These E28S are becoming increasingly sought after and are now recognised as one of the best classic analogue BMW driving experiences
  • An interesting point with the car is that the V5 records the power output as 310HP. Standard M535i models were factory rated around 208HP, so this may relate to a historic tuning declaration or previous period modifications. The car carries Hartge badging, although no supporting documentation is present
  • VIN Information - VIN confirms this is a genuine factory BMW M535i: WBADC720100645736
  • Registration - The car is fitted with the highly desirable registration: D535 RHD
  • A perfect plate for the model and a great addition to the car’s character
  • Overall: - A rare opportunity to own a genuine manual E28 M535i in one of the best colour combinations. These cars are increasingly hard to find, especially in right-hand drive
