Current V5 present. Paperwork includes a previous V5, a previous vehicle listing, previous insurance documents, MOT certificates, printed images of the vehicle, and various invoices.
The vendor has provided the following:
- 1972 RWA 1275cc MG Midget
- Having benefited from a documented/photographed full bare metal respray restoration in 2021 at a cost of £12,500 by a reputable classic car restorer
- Engine fully rebuilt at 46,720 miles, gearbox rebuilt at 43,263, then again at 57560 miles
- Large documented service history file
- Precise steering fitted Ron Hopkinson handling kit
- A desirable round wheel arch model presented in its original and highly attractive Harvest Gold, perfectly complemented by Rostyle wheels and a dark blue interior
- This car is supported by an outstanding history file, including MOT certificates dating all the way back to 1980, providing real confidence in its provenance and care over the years
- It is worth noting that prior to restoration, the car bodywork was fairly sound with just a few rusty edges on wings and a lacklustre finish (I have a pre-restoration photo showing this)
- At the same time, it benefited from new carpets and a new hood
- While the car retains its original seats and interior vinyl, preserving its authentic character. Original Rostyle wheels have been professionally refurbished, and importantly, the car still wears its original chrome bumpers. These have been sympathetically cleaned rather than replaced, maintaining originality—there is only light pitting on the chrome, which in no way detracts from the car’s overall appearance
- Recent work includes a full overhaul of the brakes with new hoses, discs, and pads, plus a new alternator
- The car is an absolute joy to drive—light, responsive, and full of classic British character. It really does bring a smile to your face
- The only non-standard upgrades are a Moss stainless
