Current V5 present. Paperwork includes Certificate of Title from North Carolina, Jaguar production record trace certificate, bill of sale, HMRC NOVA, DVLA correspondence, and invoices.
The vendor has provided the following:
I'm looking to find my 1954 Jaguar XK120 with an amazing story, a new home
It's an American imported car ( LHD ) period hill climb/ road car that was forgotten about when the owner in the US fell ill for many years
It stood in a Utah desert in Utah for 25 years, then was found by a relative and put up for auction in 2020, where we bought it and imported it to the UK
Fully went through electrics, replaced all suspension fluids, brakes fitted a modern-day kill switch and fire extinguisher, it's fully roadworthy, an XK120 you can jump in and enjoy, or would make a brilliant base for a restoration
We decided to leave it in the patina it came to us in, as it tells its story and gets a lot of positive feedback
It's an original fixed-head coupe numbers-matching " special equipment " car with uprated cams from the factory, so it really doesn't hang around
Brilliant opportunity to own an XK120 with a fantastic story from being forgotten about in a desert in Utah to being brought over here, made roadworthy, and featured in the paddock area at Haynes National Museum club meeting, where there was a crowd around it at all times!
