The vendor has provided the following:
- 1984 Landrover Defender 90 Station Wagon (TAX EXEMPT)
- MOT till April 2026
- It was subject to a rebuild 6 years ago
- This isn’t a usual defender; it has several modifications to enable it for use both on road and off-road green laning
- Some of the mods are showing a bit of age
- For those who know, it has the upgraded 3.0 L TDI engine
- The engine has been fully serviced, including the engine transfer box, which provides great torque and reliability to the axles
- The mileage is 133693, but not that relevant due to the rebuild; the previous owner advised that the engine came from a 1993 Discovery
- The car has recently been subject to extensive mechanical refurbishment by North East 4x4
- The car is now 41 years old, so it has one or two minor bodywork corrosion bubble issues, which are nothing that can’t be resolved easily. See photos which are self-evident
This work included:
- Full service and MOT
- New glow plugs
- New heater system, water pump, and temp gauge
- New Fuel injection pump
- New clutch
- Renewal of all seals and bolts for the Engine transfer box
- New stainless steel exhaust
- New LED light pack front and back, including a bright reverse light
- Other new additions included:
- New Driver and Passenger doors fitted 2 years ago
- Front roof-mounted full-beam flood lights
- Recent Pioneer audio system with phone link
Other additional modifications included:
- Venom off-road suspension and lift kit
- Terrafirma off-road all-round stabiliser bar upgrade.
- Terrafirma A12000 winch c/w plasma rope and wander lead
- Terrafirma Tubular Winch Bumper Bull bar
- Venom front-runner sump Guard
- Venom front and rear diff guards
- New modular Tuff Torque Steel wheels x5
- New BF Goodrich 265/75 R16 All Terrain tyres. (x5)
- Checker plate kit
- Heavy Duty Tow Bar
- A snorkel is fitted currently for show, but can easily be connected
