Current V5 present. Paperwork includes an Instruction book, old tax discs, MOT certificates, and various invoices.
The vendor has provided the following:
- 1971 Alfa Romeo Spider
- Genuine UK RHD with correct 1750 engine and numbers
- Fully rebuilt engine done late 2025 at Classic Car Lab, Otley, and Drakes Engine Specialists, Bradford
- Rebuilt carbs and new mounts, plus a new brake master cylinder fitted also in 2025 at Classic Car Lab
- Receipts and photos available for all work carried out
- Owned by myself for over 20 years and used regularly in good weather, including covering just short of 1000 miles this year to run in the engine post rebuild
- Head re-torqued at 500 miles, and oil and filter just changed
- The car was restored just before I purchased it in 2005 by K and L AUTOS, Alfa Romeo specialists in London
- The passenger-side sill is showing signs of work needing to be done in the future
- Everything works as it should, other than a few classic foibles the new owner should be aware of. The wiper motor is sluggish (the car is used on dry days, so not a worry for me), and the driver's door glass needs adjustment
- Koni adjustable suspension
- Classic Alfa GTA alloys
- 123 Electronic ignition
- New battery fitted recently
- Huge history file with many receipts for work carried out over the 20 years I have owned the car and from the previous owner, including for the restoration work
- Time for a new owner who I hope will use the car as much as I did when my son was young, and we blasted round the Yorkshire Dales together
- The car was driven to the auction

- by 5pm on Wednesday before the auction for lots going through on Thursday
- by 5pm on Thursday before the auction for lots going through on Friday
Please note that for our Live event in August, the commission bidding deadline will be:
- Friday 21st August at 3 pm for lots going through on Saturday 22nd
- Saturday 22nd August at 5 pm for lots going through on Sunday 23rd
