Just a quick email to say thank-you to Jack. My wife and I were in Pickering at the start of last month, from Mexico where we live, which was my first time back in the UK for 20 years (having been born and bred in Beverley). As the weather was a bit cold and wet, I persuaded my wife to have a short trek to see the now world famous Mathewsons Pickering showroom. After a good walk from the centre of Pickering, we arrived and were met by Jack, who kindly let us into the showroom to have a good look around and a chat.
As we were thinking of going to Thorneton-le-Dale, I asked Jack about how to get there by bus as we didn’t have a car. Without hesitating, he said “hang on a minute” and came back with a set of keys and offered to drive us down! I can’t express how grateful we were, given the miserable weather, and I can attest that Jack is a real testament to the whole family and the company, he even told us to tell the staff that he had said we were allowed up to the other garage to see cars and bikes most members of the public aren’t allowed to see, which was great and, as icing on the cake, we met a couple of members of the TV production team and had a good chat.
So thanks again and it was a pleasure to meet everyone there.

Just a short note to say thank you and the team for the professional way you dealt with the sale of my beloved Jaguar. It had been in the family for a long time and to entrust it to you was a big step for us.
The video that accompanied the advert was so comprehensive, it certainly gave people a thorough insight into the car. I was so impressed with the way the team presented the car and latterly the auction itself within which sold the car was exhilerating.
Also, the transport you arranged to get the car to the auction was a big bonus.

We would like to thank you for the effort and care put into selling our family 'heirloom'. When we visited Thornton-Le-Dale, Derek made time for us and was immediately fully conversant with our equirements. He understood all features of the car and gave a very realistic (slightly pessimistic) estimation of its worth.
Although he was delayed, Paul and his young daughter could not have been more pleasant. He loaded the car onto a very small space on his vehicle with great care and the minimum of fuss.
At the online auction, David worked hard and did not rush the sale. He allowed time for interested parties to consider and submit their bids.
All in All, dealing with Family Mathewson and their Staff proved a most pleasant and rewarding experience.
