The vendor has provided the following:
- But I can confirm if it's helpful or maybe not, but my uncle bought the car in 1965, it was registered to him, and has never been re-registered since
- I had done a bit digging and can confirm it went off the road in 1981/82 as a mot failure, due to brakes and possibly front subframe, it was in a garage in ormiston east lothian, the garage owner was a man called ben watson, but my uncle decided not to have it repaired, so was stored in the garage it sat in for 40 odd years
- It was definitely on the road, taxed and MOT'd in late 1977, as I passed my test in the car
- As a family, we were not really looking for any financial gain; we just hoped, fingers crossed, that it would be bought and restored. A task and a half, I know
