Make: TOYOTA Model: CORONA Registration: MAE 887F Engine Size (cc): 1489 Current Speedometer Reading: 5,077 Year of Manufacture: 1967 Date First Registered: 04/08/1967 Current V5: YES Location: PICKERING You can view from: Wednesday 18 June 2025 - Tuesday 24 June 2025
Current V5 present. Paperwork includes an Owner's Handbook, a buff log book, old tax discs, MOT certificates, newspaper articles, promotional material, a Repair Guide by Peter R.D. Russek, an Autopress Workshop Manual, some starting instructions, some printed information, and some invoices.
The vendor has provided the following:
Only one on the road in the UK
Rare Toyota Corona from 1967, UK supplied new
Drove less than 200 miles in the last 12 months
First Toyota model to come to the UK and the only one on the road in Britain
Low ownership, was in a collection for 36 years, and in 2020 had a full nut and bolt restoration
I bought the car to drive and possibly take to shows, but I feel the car is too good to use and needs to be in a collection, so reluctantly selling to buy a more usable classic
I never showed the car, and I also have some health issues preventing me from driving much, but the car was always started and driven just a few miles each time to keep it usable
It was always garaged and covered
This year, all brightwork re-chromed, new exhaust, and new front brake shoes
