The vendor has provided the following:

  • Sunbeam Lotus series 2 for restoration.
  • Reg A49 EAY (Being 1983 on “A” suffix it will be one of the last registered)
  • Chassis no:T4DCYBL425431
  • Engine number:BL425431
  • The car has been stood since about 2005 when it was taken off the road and stored in a barn for a restoration that never happened. The car has covered circa 50,629 miles.
  • The engine is free to turn by hand but must be considered a non-runner. The car is by all accounts as it was when parked up 20 years ago and now without any MOT.
  • A very rare car indeed, it has been known to our club and listed as a restoration project for a very long time with the current owner being a member up until 2003
  • The car is known to the Sunbeam Lotus Owners Club and has the original stamped chassis plate, matching numbers engine and original gearbox but is missing the gear stick
  • The V5 is with the car
  • The service history is unknown
  • Sunbeam Lotus opportunities like this are far and few between and this example presents a great basis for what will be a valuable restoration.
