Current V5 present. Paperwork includes Leyland Cars wallet containing owners handbooks including service passport with no stamps, printed MOT history, and Morris Marina 2 promotional brochure.
The vendor has provided the following:
Morris Marina MkII 1.8 SDL Estate
Damask red
Current mileage 53,210
Tax & MOT exempt
A rare car, with only a handful remaining on the road in the UK
First registered 1/12/1977 in Edinburgh, where it spent the first 34 years of its' life
Since then, it's been in classic car collections, most recently in the 'Warwickshire collection'
The current owner is only the second recorded keeper with the DVLA, having carried out extensive recommissioning, including full cavity wax (at considerable expense) before returning to the road
The car has covered 1,600 miles in the meantime
It remains a very useable and practical classic car, with a large load area, and potentially ideal for towing a classic caravan
Having the larger 1.8 B-series engine, largely similar to the MGB, it has enough power to tackle motorway work if required
Appearances at classic car shows normally cause people to comment - 'My Dad had one of those!'
Sadly, this is a reluctant sale, due to change of circumstances/health issues.
New parts fitted:
Both front suspension legs, complete with trunnions and top swivels
Set of brake hoses
Rear brake cylinders and adjusters
Clutch master & slave cylinders
Rear leaf springs (manufactured to estate specification)
Rear axle bump stops
Four new tyres
Indicator & hazard relays
Nearside door mirror
Nearside front side/indicator lamp
Full service, including new fan belt
Rear wash/wipe and rear screen heater switches
Tailgate washer pump
Front brake discs and pads
Track rod ends
Pilkington laminated front screen with new rubber and brightwork.
