Current V5 present. Paperwork includes Vauxhall wallet containing owners handbooks including service book with 5 stamps, old new keeper slip, MOT certificates, DVLA correspondence, diagrams, and invoices.

Good points:

  • I’m only the 3rd owner, with 31,047 miles
  • 19 years of ownership
  • Known to the DSG for many years, even prior to my ownership
  • Relatively rust free original shell that was rustproofed injected from new
  • Always dry stored by me and has had no paint in my ownership
  • Mostly original with twin Dellorto’s, Aldon Distributor with built in modern electronic ignition
  • Electric Fuel Pump fitted next to Tank
  • Period Radio
  • Starts, drives and stops!

Not so good points:

  • Has oil leak - needs attention
  • Soft original type engine mounts
  • Small tear to drivers seat - easily repairable
  • Bottom of doors, especially passenger side need attention to the rust bubbles - been like this for many years!

Summary:

  • In reality because it doesn’t get used it needs you to go through all the mechanicals to check everything, sort of a light recommissioning
  • Service and Cambelt are also required.

Remember it’s an HS so it’s had a life!
Genuine nice car that needs someone to love and cherish it.
