Rebuilt in between many other projects by owner (an engineer) for many years until finally put back on the road in 2020
New pistons, cylinder sleeves and crankshaft bearings fitted along with general cylinder head service
Chassis renovated using press formed length of steel to replace any corroded areas of box section
Original rear shock absorbers updated with telescopic Spax dampers
Original steel panels retained where possible including bonnet, boot lid, door frames, front apron assembly ,rear centre deck section, scuttle top panel, spare wheel enclosing panel, gearbox tunnel
Many new steel panels used to complete bodywork-inner and outer wings, bulkhead assembly, floor panels, chassis outriggers, door posts, rearing quarter panels, rear floor boot assembly rear apron panel, new door skins
Original fuel tank restored and retained, dynamo replaced with alternator and high torque starter motor
Electric fan assembly fitted to rebuilt radiator with thermostatic switching
Windscreen re-chrome and rebuilt with new glass
Two S U carburettors overhauled
Steering column replaced with safer device
New rack and pinion conversion kit replaced original steering box.
