Current V5 present. Paperwork includes an Abarth wallet containing Owner's Handbooks, a Service booklet containing 2 stamps, an old tax disc, and some MOT certificates.
The vendor has provided the following:
- An extremely rare & sought-after Fiat 500 Abarth Ferrari Dealer Edition
- Purchased by me in 2013 from the renowned Ferrari dealer Meridian Modena
- MOT history will show I ran it briefly with minimum miles each year until I took it off the road in 2016/17. It then stood proudly in my collection over the following years. Unfortunately, due to a change in circumstances, it is now time to sell
- As you can imagine, with this amount of mileage, the car is in fantastic condition
- This is not to be confused with the later, much more common, Fiat 500 Abarth Ferrari Tributo, which came along later
- Of the 200 cars made, only 60 were RHD UK cars, and all of the Dealer Editions have a number plaque – this being number 199/200
- Initially commissioned by Ferrari for use as courtesy cars, the demand from Ferrari customers was so high that the cars were instead sold to special customers rather than being used as Courtesy cars
- All dealer editions came with the much-desired manual gearbox – the later tributo model had neither a number plaque nor a manual gearbox
- As well as the manual gearbox, the Dealer Edition had many other exclusive touches, such as the stunning Sabelt bucket seats, Monza sports exhaust, which sounds fantastic, Rosso Corsa paintwork with Grey Scuderia style stripes, striped steering wheel, plus Dealer Edition badging and, of course, the number plaque
- With a genuine 4651 miles, this is a fantastic long-term investment prospect that would look at home in any serious car collection
