The vendor has provided the following:

  • Early 480 with very low mileage. Acquired by the current owner with just over 17k on the clock, and still less than 21k. Loads of documentation, including every MOT; current MOT till November
  • Rust-free; only area that needed attention was rear of cills/front of rear wheel arches; this was repaired professionally, and even the chip film was replaced. Many original fittings, including mudflaps all round
  • Interior is excellent; seats are grey with red pinstriping showing minimal wear, good carpets and new fitted mats

Work done in current ownership includes:

  • Serviced and cambelt replaced at about 17.5k
  • Front wiper motor (2nd hand) and washer jets (new) replaced
  • Rear wiper motor and washer repaired
  • Left window regulator replaced (new)
  • CEM repaired
  • Bonnet foam replaced (new)
  • Headlining replaced (new)
  • Front tyres replaced (new)
  • Locks repaired
  • Info centre (dash) repaired; all gauges and warning lights working
  • Headlamp struts (new), washer jets and pop-up motors (2nd hand) replaced
  • Radio/cassette repaired
  • Clutch cable replaced (new from Speedy Cables)

Outstanding issues:

  • Starter solenoid sticks, but clears after a few attempts, and the engine starts easily once it turns
  • Recently, the engine is prone to misfire under load; owner unable to investigate due to ill health, which is also the reason for sale
  • Leak into the rear passenger footwell, but there is a good tailored car cover included
  • Rear light lenses badly crazed, really only cosmetic, but front lenses are good
  • Heated seats not working
  • Washer level switch not working
  • Rear screen heater not working
  • Left-hand end of dash needs refitting
