This 1991 Ford Fiesta XR2i has undergone a comprehensive, ground-up nut-and-bolt restoration to return it to pristine condition, both cosmetically and mechanically, with attention to originality and period-correct detailing. 111k mileage from new. Since the refurbishment, the car has done less than 2 miles.

Bodywork and Chassis

• The shell was stripped completely down to bare metal and assessed for corrosion.
• All rusted sections were professionally cut out and replaced with new metal, including inner and outer sills, arches, and floor sections where necessary.
• Full respray in original factory colour, using high-quality primers, base coat, and lacquer for a deep, lasting finish.
• All panel gaps were realigned and refitted with new rubber seals, grommets, and weather strips.

Engine and Drivetrain

• Original 1.6L engine fully rebuilt, including:
• Re-honed block and new piston rings
• Reconditioned cylinder head with new valve stem seals
• New timing belt, water pump, and all gaskets/seals
• Rebuilt fuel injection system and throttle body
• Gearbox stripped and rebuilt.
• New clutch kit and clutch cable fitted
• All mounts and bushes replaced with OEM or high-quality uprated equivalents
