The vendor has provided the following:

  • Ford Escort Series 1 RS Turbo
  • 4 previous keepers
  • This car was fully restored in 2014 in a body shop
  • It was a full strip down and basically a nut and bolt rebuild
  • The engine and turbo were stripped and completely rebuilt
  • New ancillaries: new suspension, bushes, brakes, fuel and brake lines, bearings
  • Anything that couldn’t be bought new was shot blasted and powder coated, new clutch, etc, etc, etc
  • Over 300 hours went into the car
  • It’s had a lot of love and has been very much enjoyed
  • After the engine had been run in, it had fresh oils, then tuned at Ray West tuning in Thruxton
  • I have only covered around 2,000 miles in it
  • It’s always been dry stored and has only gotten wet once in the last 11 years
  • Change in circumstances has led to the sale

The entrance fee is £5 per person during the viewing periods at our Pickering branch. 
This forms part of our annual fundraising to help local and national charities chosen by us.
 
Each auction throughout the year will witness a collection / donation.
