Finished in white with beige velour upholstery. Owned by the registered keeper since 1990, same family since 1982, currently running off a can therefor a fuel starvation issue. The dealer pack includes the passport to service showing 11 stamps confirming maintenance. All in all a genuine looking XJ with tremendous potential. Here now awaiting your inspection.

The vendor has kindly offered the following:-

We were asked to recover a Jaguar car from a private garage in Tetbury and bring it back to our depot. The current owner of the car had it since 1990 till now, October 21. His father previously owned the car from 82-90. We believe the car was parked up in 1991 in the garage and left until we recovered it in August 21, as the owner was moving to a smaller property.

Since it has been in our depot, we have fitted a new battery, changed the oil and filter. Unfortunately the fuel tanks and fuel pumps are clogged with old fuel, so fitted a temporary fuel pump and tank. Cleaned plugs, ran vehicle up. The only issue was that the oil pressure light went out, no oil pressure on gauge, fitted a new sender unit all fine now good pressure. The water pump leaked , fitted a new water pump – all good. When trying out in our yard found no brakes – solid pedal – fitted all new brakes hoses now the vehicle stops.

The vehicle has been SORN’d.
