1990 CITROEN AX GT

Sold for £1,400

Note that some lots may be sold provisionally

Lot details

Make: CITROEN
Model: AX GT
Registration: EBZ 5140
Engine Size (cc): 1360
Current Speedometer Reading: 72,000
Year of Manufacture: 1990
Date First Registered: 27/02/1990
Current V5: YES
Location: PICKERING

Current V5 present, paperwork includes list of parts bought for the car, invoices, and Haynes Manual.

The vendor has provided the following:

In November I came into some unexpected money and the AX appeared on eBay (I had one when I was a kid) and fancied another so it was a massive impulse buy. I had every intention of keeping it and restoring it to its former glory. However, an imminent move means I will lose my triple garage and have nowhere to keep it and finish it off.

The car is an Irish import, now registered in the UK.

I was told it has been off the road for a number of years and I tend to believe this.

What we have done:

  • fitted new cambelt kit, water pump, fuel pump, fuel sender unit, radiator, water hoses (one needs sourcing and has 10mm fuel pipe as temporary fix), starter motor, plugs, leads distributor cap, second-hand distributor, air filter, oil filter and we got it running. Also had the wheels refurbished and part-worn tyres fitted.

There are numerous spare parts/original parts in the boot.

The car has NO BRAKES, these will obviously need attending to.
